Houlihan Capital acted as financial advisor and provided a Fairness Opinion to Avalon Acquisition Inc. ("Avalon"), a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company. Avalon announced that at a stockholder special meeting held on June 6, 2023, Avalon’s stockholders voted to approve its proposed business combination with The Beneficient Company Group, L.P., a technology-enabled platform providing liquidity, data, custody and trust services to holders of alternative assets.
