Houlihan Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor to DocMJ, the leading group of medical marijuana doctors in the state of Florida, on its recapitalization through a debt and equity investment provided by Chatham Capital, an Atlanta based private investment firm.
Headquartered in Clearwater, Florida, DocMJ is the oldest and largest group of Florida physicians dedicated solely to providing medical cannabis recommendations. Since 2016, DocMJ has emerged as a market leader in Florida due to its high customer retention, proprietary EMR system, and first-class management team. The Company now joins a Chatham Capital platform that aims to propel DocMJ into its next phase of growth.
Houlihan Capital represented and advised the owners of DocMJ as it conducted a comprehensive process to identify and initiate discussions with strategic and financial acquirers.
