Controller

Donna Kwon, CPA is the Controller at Houlihan Capital, brining extensive experience in the financial services. She is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the Firm. She implements accounting policies and drives process automation to ensure efficient financial reporting.

Prior to joining Houlihan Capital, Ms. Kwon built her career spanning public accounting, technical expertise, and operational leadership. At EY’s Financial Services Office, she specialized in serving banking and capital markets clients, including broker-dealers. She later transitioned to leadership roles in accounting and finance at Fortune 500 companies and startups, where she developed her skills in process automation, accounting policy development, and financial systems implementation.

Ms. Kwon earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Illinois at Chicago and is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
