Jean Alvarez

Chief Operating Officer

Jean Alvarez is the Chief Operating Officer for Houlihan Capital and has over 30 years of professional experience in the financial services industry. She leads all operations of the Firm, which includes overseeing operations of the Valuation and Investment Banking practices, Marketing, and Information Technology functions. Ms. Alvarez is responsible for identifying and implementing process efficiencies, allocating resources, advising on new engagements, managing new leads, contracts, and accounts receivable, while ensuring compliance with FINRA and SOC requirements.

Prior to joining Houlihan Capital, Ms. Alvarez spent 25 years with U.S. Bank, holding positions in relationship management, audit, and operations. She most recently served as a senior leader in the Wealth Management and Investment Services' operations arm. Her responsibilities included people leadership and development, process improvement and efficiency, organizational risk mitigation, client service satisfaction, project innovation, and financial planning and forecasting.

Ms. Alvarez earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration-Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.
